The dulcimer banjo has 4 metal strings with guitar gears. This Dulcimer Banjo is strung with the lighter melody strings to the outside (right side as you look at it face on). You can easily restring it with the melody strings close to you for the dulcimer set up; just rotate the free floating bridge to maintain the appropriate string spacing.
The body is made of rosewood with a spruce soundboard. Ebony nut with 2 circular design cutouts in the sounboard. Comes with a black nylon case it has a shoulder strap as well as hand carrying nylon straps. 36 1/2 inches long 2 inches deep 7 inches at the widest part of the body 31 inches from nut to the base.
